I’ve always been fascinated by what we hide behind a tough exterior. This piece started with the dark, industrial "noise" you see around the edges—the weathered, gritty layers we build up to protect ourselves.

The real work happened in the center. I spent hours excavating through the dark paint to find the "heat" underneath—the vibrant blues, oranges, and golds that represent our truest selves. What Lies Beneath is a reminder that even when the outside feels heavy or worn down, there is something luminous and untouched waiting at the core.
