About Me
Hi! I'm Erin, and welcome to Roo’s Loft—my creative space where abstract art and black & white photography collide.
I have a deep passion for bringing chaos and colour to the canvas (or as I fondly call it ~ wrecking canvases) and capturing the world through a timeless monochrome lens. Art, to me, is more than just an aesthetic pursuit—it's a form of self-expression, therapy, and exploration. Whether I’m letting colour run wild on canvas or framing a moment in black and white, my goal is always the same: to evoke emotions, spark curiosity, and invite deeper reflection.
My abstract paintings embrace the unpredictable, allowing colours to flow freely and take on a life of their own. On the other hand, my photography strips everything down to raw emotion, proving that sometimes, the absence of colour tells the most powerful stories. I love how both mediums challenge perception and offer a unique way to experience the world.
As I continue to grow as an artist, I dream of creating a healing art space—a place where creativity heals, inspires, and connects. Living in Canada, I’m endlessly grateful for the natural beauty that surrounds me, fuelling my imagination and infusing my work with a sense of wonder.
I invite you to explore my world, connect with my art, and maybe even see a piece of your own story within it.
