Sometimes a color can feel like a heavy weight, especially when it’s tied to someone else's "fast lane" lifestyle. This painting was my way of taking back a specific shade of blue—a color that once represented a relationship that was moving too fast toward a destination that didn't fit me.

I used bold, graphic slashes of hot pink to physically disrupt that blue landscape. It’s a visual "exit ramp," a moment of choosing my own pace and leaving that old energy where it belongs: behind me. It’s a celebratory piece about the relief you feel when you finally see a difficult chapter fading away in the distance.
