Baretta is a visual record of a very specific kind of cleaning house—the emotional kind. We all have those old, invisible "contracts" or lingering ties from past chapters that we carry around way longer than we should. This piece was my way of finally tearing those up.

Using the deep, urgent reds of the Strata series, I built up layers of history and then went to work excavating them. It was a process of letting go, scraping away the "should-haves" and the "used-to-bes" until only the raw, vibrant energy of the present remained. It’s a bold, visceral celebration of finding your own space again and the relief that comes when you finally stop looking back.
