While striking as individual works, these two pieces were conceived as a singular conversation. When displayed together, they create a rhythmic, panoramic field of weathered pinks and chalky whites, allowing the black ink "scripts" to communicate across the gap between the canvases. This duo represents the full arc of an intentional message—from the first sharp strike of ink to the expansive, echoing response.
A continuation of the dialogue between the ephemeral and the permanent. In this second installment, the heavily distressed pink and chalk-white field serves as a parchment of texture, suggesting a surface worn down by time. The rhythmic placement of black ink drops creates a new syntax—one that feels both intentional and accidental. It captures the tension of trying to leave a mark in a world that is constantly shifting, serving as a tactile reminder of the persistence of human expression.
